Hunger Games is the flagship annual tournament hosted by the Airdrie Stars. Hunger Games is run in support of the Airdrie Food Bank and donations from every participating team are encouraged.
The 2020 edition of the Hunger Games will host the following divisions:
The entry fee is $1750.00 for all teams 2009 and below and $1950 for 2007 and 2008, including GST. A $200 discount will apply to all registrations received before January 31, 2020. Your team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games and there be cash awards for the top three teams within each division.
2007 and 2008 age groups will have a flood every two periods and will be 2-hour ice times; all other divisions will flood between games with 1.5 hour ice times.
Out of town teams are asked to book with a preferred hotel (listed below).
In order for your team to be registered, please complete the Tournament Registration Form within Sports Engine. A $500 deposit holds your spot.
Please send your roster with player's names, jersey numbers and birth dates (form linked below) along with remaining payment and team logo by April 10, 2020 to email@example.com
